Based in a highly collaborative environment, your main responsibilities will focus on securing service levels, supporting commercial campaigns, and ensuring the successful handover of consolidated demand forecasts. As a Material Planning Manager (d/m/w), you will be instrumental in driving service performance optimization and maintaining high standards for customer satisfaction. Operating within the realm of material inventory planning, this position encompasses full-lifecycle support, from business case creation to in-service operations.
Your tasks:
- Collaborating closely with Satair Supply Chain, Commercial, Quality, and other key organizations to ensure seamless material planning activities for allocated customers
- Balancing service and other commitments by managing customer inventory and allocating to proper stocking locations
- Providing support for training and onboarding of local planners
- Managing ad-hoc commercial requests that alter existing services
- Consolidating service forecasts for operational implementation
- Ensuring proper execution of in-service planning operations aligned with contracts
- Occasionally traveling worldwide to provide on-site campaign support

Your qualifications:
- A Bachelor's degree in Industrial Engineering, Business Administration, Supply Chain, or Logistics
- 3 years of professional experience in supplier management, project management, supply chain logistics, and technical documentation
- Proficiency in IT systems, including Python (basic knowledge), SQL (basic knowledge), SAP (advanced knowledge), and Google Workspace
- In-depth knowledge of Lean Management, Process Management, and Risk Management
- Fluency in both German and English at a negotiation level
- Strong interpersonal and communication skills, with a service- and customer-oriented mindset
- Ability to work effectively in teams and demonstrate a high sense of responsibility and assertiveness
- Willingness to travel internationally, up to twice per year
