Process Gas Cooler Specialist (f/m/d)
The Process Gas Cooler Specialist guides and lead or support development, standardization, and cost reduction projects. Expansion of engineering tasks in the dimensions of "Material Cost Productivity" (Cost-out), "Value-added Measures" (Engineering Productivity), Employee Training, Concept Design.
Supporting the product strategy in relation to emerging markets for energy transition and decarbonization with solutions for package design, standardization, and documentation; Strategic first focus will be Process gas cooler thermodynamic design and calculation
Being technically detail oriented with skills in advanced analysis, solving complex problems, decision making, managing multiple projects, and meeting stringent customer deadlines
Supporting non-conformance investigations and 5WHY root cause analysis and applying your expertise to help engineering teams develop corrective actions for customer projects
Assisting bid management in assessing non-standard project requirements, designing new concepts and additional risk mitigation measures as part of the ROA process in the bidding phase
Developing and leading learning programs for other departments on your specialist topics
Bachelor of Science degree in an engineering subject area or related field
Longterm expertise in turbo compressor systems, components, and international standards in the oil and gas sector, as well as in the mechanical design and calculation of process gas coolers with related knowledge of international standards e.g. Evaluation of technical quotes from suppliers for process gas coolers and interest in solving complex problems and demonstrating high professional judgment to solve complex problems
Added advantage is the Knowledge of the processes, the business software (e.g., Experience working in a global environment, leading global project teams and expertise in usage of Aspen HYSYS, HTRI, as well as general knowledge of compression industry standards and calculation for components e.g. process gas piping is preferred
