Overview
You'll be part of the Amazon warehouse team that gets orders ready for customers relying on Amazon services. You will be selecting, packing, and shipping orders. Watch the video to see what the job is like at an Amazon Warehouse and scroll down to learn how to get started.
Some of your duties may include
- Receive and put away inventory
- Get customer orders ready and pack them up
- Load boxes into trucks for shipment
- Use scanners to read bar codes on products
- View prompts on screens and follow direction for some tasks
- Troubleshoot problems
- Ensure product meets quality requirements
- Operate powered industrial trucks (PIT) such as a forklift or pallet driver, and work at heights up to 13m. Equipment training and certification are provided free of cost.
You'll also need to be able to
- Lift up to 15kg
- View prompts on screens and follow direction for some tasks
- Stand, walk, push, pull, squat, bend, and reach during shifts
- Use carts, dollies, hand trucks, and other gear to move items around
- Go up and down stairs (where applicable)
- Work at a height of up to 13m on a mezzanine (where applicable)
- Adhere to strict safety, quality, and fulfillment
Requirements
Candidates must be 18 years or older and proficient in German and/or English, with the ability to understand and adhere to all job requirement and safety

Salary
15,85€ gross per hour for day time shifts
Guaranteed wage adjustment after 12 months (calculated 16,97€/h gross) and 24 months (calculated 18,35€/h gross)
Night Shift
- 20,60 €/h (gross) including a tax-free night bonus of 4,75 €/h for hours worked between 23:00 and 06:00am (according to the night shift policy).
Shifts
We offer both full-time and part-time opportunities with fixed shift schedules to suit different lifestyles. Please note that not all shift types are always available, and availability may include the following:
Full-time shifts (30+ hours/week):
- Day: Mon - Fri 08:30 - 18:40, Sat 07:30 - 17:40
- Night: Mon - Fri 18:40 - 04:50, Sun 18:40 - 04:50
New Part-time shifts (18+ hours/week):
- Student Shift: Mon - Fri 04:50 - 08:30
Working week:
- Day Shift: Mon to Sat, 4 days per week, every 4 weeks work a 5th day
- Night Shift: Sun to Fri, 4 days per week, every 4 weeks work a 5th day
- Student Shift: Mon - Fri 04:50 - 08.30 (This shift is specifically for candidates who are also studying)
