Job Description: Supply Chain Quality Manager (d/m/w)
Are you ready to step into a pivotal role in supplier management, driving the efficiency and quality required for aerospace excellence? As a Supply Chain Quality Manager (d/m/w), you will work in the cross-program Cabin perimeter, taking on challenges that revolve around supplier management, quality assurance, and risk mitigation. This position requires proactive coordination with suppliers and internal stakeholders to ensure that safety, airworthiness, and cost-effectiveness are achieved consistently.
- You will ensure operational on-time, on-quality, and on-cost delivery performance from suppliers, actively monitoring Key Performance Indicators.
- You will initiate and implement recovery plans for suppliers facing delivery or quality challenges.
- You will lead industrial qualification processes for products and suppliers according to Airbus requirements and airworthiness standards.
- You will conduct supplier audits and assessments to ensure alignment with quality and industrial capability benchmarks.
- You will develop supplier capabilities using methodologies like APQP, Lean strategies, and joint development projects.
- You will manage New Product Introductions and Transfers of Work within the supply chain, ensuring end-to-end consistency.
- You will coordinate risk management efforts across internal and external stakeholders, implementing mitigation measures.
- You will maintain effective communication across supplier management teams and influence decision-making processes at all levels.
Requirements for the Job as Supply Chain Quality Manager (d/m/w)

- You hold a Bachelor’s degree in Aerospace Engineering, Technical Studies, Industrial Engineering, Supply Chain Management, or Logistics.
- You have over 2 years of professional experience in supplier management, quality assurance, supply chain/logistics, or aerospace industries.
- You possess sound knowledge of quality management tools such as APQP, Control Plans, PFMEA, 8D/9S, and VSM.
- You have proficiency in IT tools like Windows, SAP/R3, and Google Workspace.
- You bring familiarity with risk management and Total Quality Management methodologies.
- You demonstrate strong analytical skills to understand functional processes and interrelationships quickly.
- You are adept at structured, results-oriented workflows while meeting deadlines efficiently.
- You communicate effectively with stakeholders at all organizational levels.
- You are willing to travel globally, with a maximum frequency of once per month.
