Our product portfolio encompasses Bluetooth Low Energy, 2.4GHz digital wireless, RFID circuits, smart cards ICs, ultra-low power microcontrollers, power management, LCD drivers and displays, sensor and optoelectronic ICs and standard analog ICs.
As Sales & Key Account Manager, you will be responsible for managing a portfolio of strategic clients and developing new accounts in Switzerland and Western Europe. This role requires solid technical knowledge, strong commercial acumen and a strategic approach to customer relations.
You will work closely with internal teams (Product, Marketing, Engineering) to propose solutions tailored to the needs of high-value customers.
Key responsibilities
Key account management
- Define and implement strategic plans by account
- Maintain and develop strong relationships with existing customers
- Be the main point of contact for customers
- Coordinate internal teams around customer needs
- Conducting contract negotiations and long-term agreements
- Monitor account performance and establish revenue forecasts
- Represent the company at client meetings, trade fairs and industry events.
Business development
- Identify new opportunities in target markets
- Qualify leads and manage the entire sales cycle through to signing.
- Supporting strategies for entering new markets
- Contributing to design wins and sustainable commercial success
Forecasts and strategy
- Provide reliable sales forecasts and visibility into the pipeline
- Share key indicators with management
- Feedback from the field and customer needs to internal teams
- Analyse performance and adjust the commercial strategy if necessary
Desired profile
Experience
- Minimum 10 years' experience in B2B sales, ideally in the semiconductor industry
- Proven experience in key account management and new client development
- Strong understanding of electronic components: ASICs, RFICs, microcontrollers, sensors
- Ability to manage complex sales cycles with multiple stakeholders
Training
- University degree (Bachelor's or Master's) in electronic engineering, business or equivalent
Languages
- Proficiency in French and English (spoken and written – everyday use)
- 10+ years of B2B semiconductor sales experience, with proven success in both key account management and new business development for double-digit million CHF/EUR/USD business
- Willing to regularly travel
- Technical understanding of semiconductor products (ASICs, RFICs, MCUs, sensors, or similar)
