Senior Cloud Engineer (Tenant) (m/w/d)

We are looking for a

Senior Cloud Engineer

(unlimited, full-time) Join our team at our location in Tallinn or Berlin – flexible working conditions are available

What will be your challenge?

• Design, develop, and test secure cloud infrastructure solutions, tailored to specific requirements and business needs.
• Implement new and extend existing solutions following Infrastructure as Code (IaC) approach using Terraform and Packer.
• Close involvement with implementation and maintenance of such services as Kubernetes, HashiCorp Vault and Consul, and database services using Azure SQL Server, MongoDB Atlas, RabbitMQ, etc.
• Create and maintain monitoring and alerting using Azure Monitor and New Relic.
• Create and maintain comprehensive documentation of Infrastructure Product.
• Share and present architectural decisions to the team.
• Collaborate with other teams to improve their infrastructure implementation.

What do you need to succeed in the role?

• A bachelor's degree in computer science or a related field.
• Hands-on experience working with infrastructure as code approach using Terraform.
• Hands-on experience working with Azure cloud and Kubernetes.
• Experience one of scripting language PowerShell, bash or Python.
• Experience setting up and working with security, monitoring & alerting solutions (Azure Monitor, New Relic, Microsoft Defender for Cloud, etc.)
• Familiarity with CI/CD approach for application and infrastructure deployment.
• Familiarity with containerization using Docker.
• Familiarity with Azure SQL database server and RDBMS principles.
• Fluent written and spoken English language skills for effective communication and collaboration with our international team.

Also, nice to have:

• Previous experience working in the banking or Fintech domain.
• A reasonable level of competence in software development, cybersecurity, application monitoring & support.
• Previous experience working with RabbitMQ or another queue system.
• Experience with database and queue services: backup policy, monitoring, data migration.
• Previous experience working with Kafka, PostgreSQL or MongoDB.
• Previous experience working with IIS and Nginx web services.
