Investigation on techniques to simulate/model aperiodic metasurfaces
Determination of specific properties of aperiodic versus periodic metasurfaces for given applications (metric and merit function definition, computing cost)
Comparison of theoretical and experimental results
Documentation of the algorithms developed and results
A background in Electromagnetism (interferometry, scattering, ...) and/or mathematics (topology, discrete and combinatorial geometry, mathematical crystallography, ...)
You are enrolled in a Bachelor's or Master's program in one of the above subjects and experience in these fields is a plus
Applied knowledge in Python and /or MATLAB
