Your role
Strategic Security Architecture
- Strategic development of the SMT SAP security architecture and services for on‑premise, private cloud and SAP cloud platforms
- Design and implementation of modern, innovative security architecture solutions based on SAP technologies (SAP S/4HANA) – also as part of hybrid architectures
- Redesign and transformation of existing security architectures in close collaboration with stakeholders
Governance & Compliance
- Design and implementation of SMT security policies for the SAP technology landscape in coordination with the corporate group
- Expansion of group-wide monitoring to ensure compliance with SAP security requirements (e.g. static configuration analyses, SIEM integration)
- Creation of gap analyses for security and compliance deficiencies in SAP environments, including development of solution options
Authorization Management
- Review and design of role and authorization concepts as well as target architectures
- Redesign and revision of the authorization and role concept in close coordination with the business departments
- Identification and remediation of authorization issues and implementation of sustainable solutions
Interface Function & Consulting
- Identification of improvement potentials, risks and synergy effects in cooperation with relevant stakeholders (e.g. corporate infrastructure teams)
- Consulting for business departments on IT security and authorization concepts to strengthen the overall security architecture

Degree in (Business) Informatics, IT Security (or comparable field)

You have successfully completed a degree in IT or IT Security (or comparable field) and subsequently gained at least four years of professional experience, preferably in an industrial manufacturing company.

Professional experience in SAP architecture, developing functional concepts and their implementation, primarily with SAP S/4HANA. Strong project management skills and fluent English enable you to work in an international and complex environment.

Knowledge of ISO 270xx and CIS Controls completes your profile.

Ideally, you possess relevant certifications (e.g., ISO 27001, CISSP, PRINCE2, or ITIL).

With a high degree of flexibility, initiative, and a results-oriented and team-oriented work ethic, you are able to master demanding challenges.

Excellent communication and teamwork skills are essential.

Fluency in German and English is required; knowledge of other languages is an advantage.
