Site Manager Wind Turbine Projects (m/w/d)

In this role, you are responsible for the on-site management of wind turbine construction projects from delivery through commissioning. You work closely with project management as well as internal and external stakeholders to ensure safe, high-quality, and on-schedule execution. Your contribution is key to successful project delivery and compliance with all safety and technical requirements.

YOUR TASKS

• You take full on-site responsibility for the construction site, ensuring safe, timely, and high-quality execution from delivery to commissioning
• You actively support the Project Manager in planning, site setup, execution, scheduling, cost control, and project reporting
• You coordinate and supervise civil and electrical works, plan resources, and ensure availability of tools, equipment, and materials
• You act as the primary on-site contact for customers, suppliers, and internal stakeholders
• You lead subcontractors, service providers, installation teams, crane operators, and transport companies, ensuring clear instructions and smooth workflows
• You ensure strict compliance with safety, environmental, and technical requirements, including risk management and proper documentation

YOUR PROFILE

• Technician or master craftsman qualification in mechanical or electrical engineering, a technical vocational training, or an equivalent qualification
• Several years of experience in construction site management, preferably in wind energy or comparable large-scale technical projects
• Confident use of MS Office, ideally MS Project, and fluent English skills at least at B2 level according to CEFR, basic German (B1 level)
• Structured, assertive, and solution-oriented working style with a high level of responsibility and strong teamwork skills
• Willingness to travel mainly within Germany and occasionally to neighboring countries such as Austria, the Netherlands, Switzerland, or Luxembourg
• Willingness to undertake multi‐week assignments on construction sites as well as regular Saturday work
