Senior Production Manager (m/f/d) in Electromechanical Equipment Manufacturing

As Senior Production Manager (m/f/d) in Electromechanical Equipment Manufacturing, you and your team ensure smooth flow-line production in a modern, clean environment, partly under cleanroom conditions, serving our international customers in the semiconductor industry.

You lead the areas of Production, Device Testing, and Manufacturing Engineering, ensuring compliance with quality standards, monitoring production targets, and managing shift planning. With a solution-oriented mindset, you continuously identify and leverage untapped improvement opportunities within our low-volume manufacturing operations.

You Will Make an Impact By:

  • Plan and execute activities in the production areas to achieve production, quality, and cost targets.
  • Develop and manage procedures and budgets.
  • Provide budget recommendations for capital expenditures and direct/indirect labor resources.
  • Recruit, develop, and manage personnel.
  • Create schedules and determine staffing requirements for assigned areas.
  • Design assembly and testing workstations and optimize their integration within the production process.
  • Conduct customer visits.
  • Ensure compliance with occupational health, safety, and environmental regulations.
  • Continuously improve the production environment according to Lean manufacturing principles.

  • Completed degree in an Engineering discipline, Natural Sciences field, or related discipline.
  • Relevant professional experience in a manufacturing environment with personnel management responsibilities.
  • Proven experience leading diverse teams, ideally in a production setting, combined with innovative leadership methods.
  • Strong technical understanding of manufacturing and testing processes.
  • High level of quality awareness and understanding of handling hazardous materials.
  • Excellent communication skills at all organizational levels in both German and English.
  • Results-oriented mindset and openness to change.
  • Passion for improving existing processes, ideally supported by knowledge of change management.
  • Ability to lead constant improvements and changes

Preferred Skills:

  • Experience or knowledge of the semiconductor industry or a related industry is an advantage.
  • Lean management – believe in the philosophy, understand the principles, and implement the methodologies
