Coffee and free food in the office are amazing and yes, we do have those. But let's be honest, that is not what really matters. At softgarden we strive to live an open company culture, where ...

  • You work on a meaningful product with real impact on how companies hire
  • Product teams have real ownership, trust, and room to shape how we work
  • The leadership team is serious about AI - not as a buzzword, but as a shift in how we work together and build software
  • Work moves around your personal life and not the other way around
  • Fair communication and feedback, practiced not just preached
  • You are trusted with flexible working hours, home office and remote work options

But of course, we also have the other benefits, too ...

  • Public transportation ticket or a job bike
  • Company pension plan
  • Access to corporate benefits
  • 30 days of vacation with a 5-day week
  • Discounted Wellpass membership
  • A present for your birthday and company anniversary
  • Modern hardware (Mac or Windows - your choice)
  • Team events, such as our summer party, free lunches, and after-work drinks
  • A great, central office in Berlin near the zoo

If you’re looking for a product role with impact, autonomy, and technical ambition, we’d like to hear from you.

We're currently doubling down on AI to reshape both how our customers hire and how we build software internally. Today, anyone in our product organization can already go from idea to production using natural language, with engineering review ensuring quality. But we’re just getting started, and there’s a huge opportunity to take this to the next level.

That's where you come in.

We're looking for a Senior Product Manager (m/f/d) to take ownership of a core area of our ATS - the product hiring teams rely on every day. You'll define the vision, set the bar for what great looks like, and lead a fully staffed cross-functional team of engineers, designers, QAs, and tech leads to ship outcomes that move the business.

This role reports to the Director Product. You'll have the mandate to make decisions, the autonomy to set direction, and the responsibility to deliver measurable impact.

What You'll Do:

  • Own a core product area end-to-end. Set the vision, define the roadmap, and drive execution. Success is measured by impact, not output.
  • Prototype and build, don't just specify. You won’t stop at requirements. When it creates leverage, you’ll use AI‑powered tools to prototype, test, and sometimes ship code to production with engineering review. You step in where needed to move faster and learn quicker.
  • Drive customer impact: Use insights, analytics, and experimentation to build ATS features that make hiring workflows faster, easier, and more enjoyable for recruiters, hiring managers, and candidates.
  • Stay close to users & data: Collaborate with marketing and sales to understand current and future customer needs and turn insights into actionable improvements.
  • Lead complex delivery at pace: Structure ambiguous problems, align stakeholders across multiple products and teams, and keep a large cross-functional team focused, coordinated, and moving at pace.
  • Collaborate & influence: Align product, design, engineering, marketing, and commercial stakeholders on strategy and execution.
  • 5+ years of product management experience in B2B SaaS, with a clear track record of shipping products that moved metrics, not just shipped features.
  • Hands-on experience shipping AI-powered features to customers. You're fluent with AI-powered prototyping and product-building tools, and you've shipped AI-powered features to customers.
  • Proven ability to lead large cross-functional teams (engineers, designers, QAs, tech leads) and align strategy and execution across business functions.
  • Strong analytical and structured thinking. You break down complex workflows, edge cases, and dependencies into clear priorities and well-reasoned decisions.
  • A bias for action. You're pragmatic, decisive, and create momentum in ambiguity.
  • A agile mindset: you adapt process to fit team, product, and business context, and you don't confuse following a framework with making progress.
  • Experience in HR Tech or recruiting software - and a solid understanding of what it means to build for German SMBs - is a strong plus.
  • Fluent in English - German is a plus: You communicate clearly with teams, stakeholders, and customers, and are comfortable joining direct customer conversations to understand needs and feedback.
