As a Design Engineer (d/m/w) at Airbus, you play a pivotal role in shaping mechanical system installation processes. Operating out of Hamburg, this full-time role focuses on the implementation and execution of mechanical design planning (MSI) for manufacturing and assembly processes, specifically for hydraulic and flight control systems in the vertical stabilizer of the A320 and A330 aircraft. Utilizing advanced design tools and collaborating across departments, you will ensure precise and efficient designs for system installations, components, and assemblies.
- Conduct detailed designs for mechanical system installations, system installation components, and assemblies based on specific requirements.
- Review and update manufacturing and assembly documentation.
- Analyze and address production feedback, including modifications and preliminary decisions for resolutions.
- Collaborate as an interface manager with design-structure departments through Interface Point Management.
- Maintain and manage data across all relevant systems and tools.
- Perform feasibility studies, including developing and customizing new solutions to meet project needs.

- Familiarity with Google Workspace and essential experience in Taksy is required.
- Language proficiency in German and English.
