In Hamburg Finkenwerder, join our transnational team as an NPI & Industrialization Engineer (d/f/m), where you will play a pivotal role in ensuring the success of New Product Introduction (NPI) and Industrialization processes. As part of a dynamic, cross-functional environment spanning multiple locations across Europe, you will have the unique opportunity to work with cutting-edge technologies while strengthening supplier performance and driving operational excellence. Your main focus will be on supplier delivery performance, quality control, and project management.
Your tasks:
- Manage and contribute to contract execution, ensuring supplier On Quality On Time (OQOT) performance.
- Lead effective control of supplier activities while maintaining a thorough understanding of their overall capabilities and scope.
- Develop recovery, improvement, and development plans to ensure the seamless delivery of products and services.
- Coordinate stakeholders within Multi-Functional or Divisional Teams to streamline supplier operations.
- Monitor Supplier Driven Transfer of Work (ToW) and NPI for multiple suppliers, ensuring adherence to industrial planning.
- Balance workloads for Transfer of Work activities and NPI while maintaining flexibility to meet shifting priorities.
- Manage project costs associated with various team members and project activities.
- Ensure the maturity of Work Packages (WP) before handover to the serial Supply Chain Quality Manager (SCQM).
- Collaborate with suppliers on ToW and NPI projects with lower maturity levels in APQP.
- Travel within Europe (once per month) and potentially to India (once per quarter) to support supplier performance and project implementation.
- Degree in Engineering, Technical Field, or Industrial Engineering.
- 1 year of experience in logistics, 2 years in manufacturing engineering and 2 years in quality management or supply chain.
- Project management skills with 1 year of relevant experience.
- Strong technical understanding of IT systems like SAP and Google Workspace.
- Proficiency in Lean Management, Process Management, Risk Management, and Total Quality Management.
- Familiarity with composite technologies is a plus.
- Fluent English skills are required.
- Availability for regular travel within Europe and occasional trips to India.
